T + 109 (Friday) Preliminary BMB results

Today we had another followup appointment and heard good news about the bone marrow biopsy from last week. Still at 100% donor blood, no signs of MDS and no blasts (immature blood cells) all good news! They're still waiting on the gene analysis and we'll hear about that on the 14th when we meet with Dr. Langston.

Annette's hemoglobin was a bit low, the main side effect is she's tired. It's most likely a result of the cold she caught last week which has since cleared up.  They offered to give her a unit of blood or wait for next week's appointment. She opted to take the blood so she'd be able to weather the busy weekend we have ahead. They also gave her a flu shot because the flu is something she definitely needs to avoid.
