T + 120

We saw Dr. Langston a week early and yesterday's appt was cancelled. She said we were right where they expected, things looked good. They haven't received the chromosome or gene analysis yet but expect to have it before our next appointment on the 22nd. They've reduced the steroid again in an attempt to wean her off of it and as a result the nausea returned. We were hoping the GVHD would finally be done with but that nausea is one frustrating, stubborn symptom. They still want her to stay on the reduced dose and deal with the nausea through nausea meds. We expressed our frustration to the doctor who remarked this wasn't gall bladder surgery and reminded us the BMT was a major event with a traumatic impact on her body and it may take years to recover.
