T + 100 - 104

We made it to day 100!! This is the first major milestone following the transplant. Unfortunately I was fighting a cold. I wore a mask and slept upstairs and generally tried to avoid contact with Annette.  On day 100 she woke up nauseous, the first time in a month,  maybe longer, so that pretty much nixed our plans to celebrate. Then later in the day the nausea subsided but she started to come down with my cold, that scared me a bit. The next morning she had a sore throat and the transplant team told her to get a strep test. The test was negative, probably because she's been on penicillin since her embolism. Day 102  (Friday) we had our regularly scheduled Dr appointment, we were expecting a hospital stay from all the talk about viruses and compromised immune systems so we made sure we had our Go bags in the car. The PA laughed at us, she said "it's only a cold". 😀
