T + 95 Follow up

Today we had our last appointment before Day 100! Everything looks good, her diabetes is under control and we're looking forward to hitting the T + 100 milestone.  Following the appointment we headed over to the hospital respiratory clinic for an inhalation therapy session which we have to do once a month.

The transplant team is very happy with Annette's progress. Next Friday she'll have another bone marrow biopsy (BMB) to see how the graft is doing. Since her numbers are all improving they're  confident things will go well and believe the disease is well into remission. The typical Emory BMB  looks for issues at the chromosome level however on our trip to MD Anderson last December they identified 4 gene mutations. So this time around they will take a deeper dive to the gene level to see how things are progressing.
