Early this morning they came in and gave Annette an infusion of platelets. They were down to 5 when normal is 140-400. The doctor said she'd probably need a blood transfusion sometime in the next day or so. All of this is expected but it is unnerving knowing her blood counts are so low, thankfully she hasn't had a fever since we arrived. Nausea once again ruled the day. The medications used and her low blood counts kept her sleepy all day. She did manage a short walk with Mark who spent the day with us.
