T + 239 Vaccinations

Annette's been doing so well these posts are getting less frequent. As a result of her progress, they've started her vaccinations. On Friday she received 6 shots, in a month she'll receive more and then again in September. All of these are dead-virus vaccinations, she won't get a live virus vax until she's 2 years post-transplant. Further, she's completely off her steroids, and if things go as planned they'll take her off her anti-fungal in a month and continue reducing her meds the closer she gets to her one year anniversary. Her nausea seems to be under control and the doctor now believes the nausea is related to the number of medications she's on and not GVHD. We're also on an 8-week followup so we're very happy with the progress she's made and look forward to the visit when we get a 'Cured' diagnosis!
